Hace pocas horas nos enteramos vía Twitter y Resident Advisor que el BPM Festival 2017 tuvo un cierre lamentable, ya que en la fiesta closing del Blue Parrot – donde celebraba la productora El Row el fin del festival – se escucharon entre 10 y 20 detonaciones (que fueron confundidas por fuegos artificiales) provenientes de un tiroteo entre los asistentes.
El DJ escocés Jackmaster comunicó a través de su cuenta twitter:
«Alguien ha entrado en el club de Playa del Carmen y abrió fuego. 4-5 muertos y muchos heridos. Quédate en tu fucking hotel si estás aquí en BPM».
El conocido DJ, Dubfire también reportó desde su cuenta de Twitter que se encontraba en la cabina en el momento del incidente, pero afortunadamente se encuentra sano y salvo. Otros famosos como LOCO Dice y Steve Lawler también opinaron.
